For us, horses are not vehicles.
They are our friends.
Hop into a car and drive just 20 minutes from Jyvaskyla — there we go: hello!
We‘ll let you train at our open arena, or we can go for an expedition to our private forest trail. Should we get a big wanderlust, we will plot a longer ride around Puuppola and its picturesque fields.
And after the ride, you‘re welcome to take a shower or sauna, and wind down with a cup of coffer and dessert.
Tervarinne has full facilities at your disposal.
We arrange weekly lessons for groups of up to 4 riders. Small groups allow us to listen to your hopes and fears, while providing individual approach to all learners.
Group lessons start at €30/hr.
If you prefer even smaller group, schedule
a calm (or exciting!) private lesson for up to two people.
Private lessons start at €55/hr.

Tervarinne is a horseback riding schoolaround Jyvaskyla, Central Finland.
Just 20-minutes away from Jyvaskyla, and an two-hour ride from Tampere, it makes for an easy daily or weekend escape.
We focus on softer, kinder, more heartfelt kind of riding, genuine horsemanship, and mindfulness.
Riding for us is about a fully present
experience and connection with mother
nature.
If you haven’t rode before, or it’s been
a while, we will help you get into the saddle with ease.
Additionally, our quirky passion for
medieval arts lets you learn even horseback archery or swordfighting.
All while providing our riders with full
respect, care, and safety.
